Today we will be doing the amazing, creative and likely somewhat embarrassing Script performances! I'm excited!
We will also be taking up the Act 1 questions. Happy Friday! Today we will be doing a very short and quick Act 1 quiz for the play.
You will have the remainder of the period to work on the Act 1 questions - we will take this up tomorrow in class along with the Script presentations. We are starting Twelfth Night today! Get excited! :)

We will begin studying Twelfth Night tomorrow. We are taking a break from our regular programming to enjoy the beautiful weather and support our girls rugby team! We shall return to our Script Writing assignment tomorrow.
Remember, you should also be working away on your culminating assignment. All of this week and for most of next week we will be working through the Script Writing and Performance assignment for To Kill a Mockingbird. On Wednesday April 26th (next Wednesday) we will have having the TKAM Unit Test. I'll be going over the outline for the test over the next few days.
Keep an eye out for the Culminating Assignment details as well. I hope you're doing lots of independent reading at home! :) Today you will be doing your presentations (they are brief presentations - don't over think it!) and then we will be discussing the final assignment for this unit. Assignment details below.
Today we will be working through a quote analysis oral presentation assignment. This will be good practice for the unit test where you will be asked to analyze 3 quotes and connect them to theme and character development. We will do presentations tomorrow.
Snow Day on Friday? Whhhaaaat? That was a lovely April gift! Because of that, today will be a work period to continue working on the theme and character assignments from last week. Work hard! Get it done!
Also, you should be starting to complete the reading of your independent novels in prep for the culminating assignment :) |
