Wednesday: Today we will watch an intro video into the lives of Indigenous youth living in Ontario. We will also read the poem "Indian Enough" and discuss it in class. Thursday: We will discuss Indigenous stereotypes in film and television. You will complete an in class assignment discussing the different stereotypes and we will watch a few clips from various stereotypical portrayals of Indigenous peoples. Friday: Today we will watch an episode of "8th Fire" and discuss it and work through some questions. Congrats! You made it through the first week! WOOT! WOOT! Today we will be finishing the Identity package handout and we will discuss 3 different creation stories and compare them.
